A God to Pharaoh

And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet. Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land. Exodus 7:1‭-‬2 KJV

Moses’s difficulty is now being removed. God has made allowance for his weakness and self distrust. The Pulpit Commentary says,” He(God) made allowance, and raised his courage and his spirits by fresh promises, and by a call upon him for immediate action”. Moses has been appointed Gods vice regent, or Gods representative, and to speak in Gods name. His brother Aaron was to be his interpreter. That is how prophets are to speak from God. Isn’t it unique how God makes plan to contain our weaknesses? Nothing takes Him by surprise. Their combined efforts was for one thing, to bring Israel out of bondage. God loves deliverance, even if that means sending His only begotten son. There’s no excuse that God will not overcome to set you free. My prayer is that we will be able to recognise the deliverers when they arrive.
