Yesterday was my birthday. I was brought to tears by the people who shared their stories of my impact in their lives in my sixty two years of existence. The stories they told were some I couldn’t remember, but they did. Reminding us of the stories made a great reflection on lives in the service. In Egypt, there arose another King who had no knowledge of history, he knew not Joseph. His motivations were borne out of fear and politics , not reality. You see, politics is the way people in groups make decisions and govern themselves. Its about the power relations in groups. That new king behaved like a modern despot. He forgot about the help of Joseph. The devil seized on his ignorance and made him react out of fear. That was the start of all the troubles for the people of Israel in Egypt. Has someone forgotten your usefulness to them in the past? Forgetfulness of this nature is not just a sign of the decay of history. Its a demonic manipulation to keep you from possible blessings(Job 19:14). Today, where ever your help was forgotten, we rebuke the devil and speak a reminder for a blessing instead. God has not forgotten you.( Luke 1:68), Weymouth.

He Will Not Forget You
Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph. Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land.
Exodus 1:8, 10 KJV
