Low Productivity And Leadership

And the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of the congregation there. And the land was subdued before them. And there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes, which had not yet received their inheritance. Joshua 18:1‭-‬2 KJV

Thus far, the children of Israel are doing well to occupy the land of promise. That is until these two verses. If you take seven from twelve, it means only five tribes had occupy their land. The land still remained. Then we are told the land was subdued before them. Really? Seven tribes were yet to occupy their land. In leadership, there comes a time when low productivity shows up. Ludy Massamba Uime is a Behaviour Analyst in Aston University, Angola. She examines this aspect as they relate to leadership productivity in companies. Here is her submissions: ” whenever you identify a decrease in your company’s performance the first factor that you should evaluate is your leadership. Studies have shown that leaders who don’t know how to meet the engagement needs of their team become a barrier to employee, team and company performance”. Excuse me Joshua, did you read that? Its no wonder therefore that a meeting was called in Shiloh. Joshua led the team, and divided the land for the rest of the tribes. Now, its time to go back to work. It must first start with the leader. What is your team experience?
