A Curse Cause less

Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.
Numbers 22:6 KJV

A curse is described as, ”a solemn utterance intended to invoke a supernatural power to inflict harm or punishment on someone or something.” Miriam Webster says it is: ” to call upon divine or supernatural power to send injury upon ”, someone or something. A curse is the opposite of a blessing. If it is released from an appropriate authority, it can cause harm, retrogression, and struggles in life. This is what Balaam intended to release upon seeing the armies of Israel. At least, unlike Bashan, they had a strategy, except that the strategy was faulty. .You see, things in the realm of the spirit have a sense of order if you know. Balaks reply later in chapter 24 points to a deep order in the spirit realm. Even in the Old Testament, God had boundaries concerning curses. Here is Prov.26:2 ” As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come”. So you couldn’t curse those whom God has blessed. In the New Testament, the power of curses are dealt with by Christ Jesus ( Gal.3:13 ). Salvation offers you a way out of the curses of this world because Christ was accursed on our behave. Now you can resist the imposition of curses by the devil. Even if they invited a Balaam to curse you, it will not work. Celebrate victory, the blood speaks better things today.
