Through A Window On The Wall

So Michal let David down through a window: and he went, and fled, and escaped. And Michal took an image, and laid it in the bed, and put a pillow of goats’ hair for his bolster, and covered it with a cloth. 1 Samuel 19:12‭-‬13 KJV

There’s something peculiar with having a deliverance through a window on the wall. Let the devil watch the gates, God will give you an escape route. While Saul sent to kill David, Michal, Davids wife, Saul’s daughter let David down through a window on the city wall. It reminds you of Rahab and the Spies in Joshua 2:15, and Saul in Acts 9:25. A window may look like an apparent insignificant opening on a wall, but that may be all you need. The enemy may think it has you cornered, but your escape will confuse the creature. Isn’t it an irony that from the very house of the King seeking Davids death, God would raise Saul’s two children to help David? Jonathan and Michal were God’s secret agents behind the enemy lines. Someone says that a setback is a setup for a comeback. Has the enemy set you up? Are you pressured to feel like there’s no more room? Look around you. God is providing a window on the wall. And God is sending help for someone to hold the ropes while you land. God won’t leave his own without a means of escape. Thank you Lord. There’s a window to escape financial embarrassment, there’s a window to escape death, there’s even a window to get what was denied you. God calls it, the windows of heaven. Its not just a window for escape. Its also a window for the outpouring of blessings. Windows….thank you Lord.
