Darkness won’t last
And as he passed over Penuel the sun rose upon him, and he halted upon his thigh.
Genesis 32:31 KJV
The Sun rose upon him. Thank God for another day. Thank God for clearing the darkness and letting the light of His creation pierce through. There are things which are prophetic announcements to our lives. The rising Sun was a statement that everything will be alright. It was hope based on the strength of God. It takes God to bring on the Sun after all the darkness. Don’t accept defeat. Don’t let the devil tell you the darkness will last forever. It won’t. Tomorrow, God will take over. If only the pain knew there will be another opportunity. You will have a new love, no matter the heartbreak. Take it from me. I’ve been there. But, let me warn you. You may still halt on your walk: a reminder of your encounter with God. Who cares, so long as you are not dead, and the Sun is rising. Its a new day. Walk in style, hands in your pocket, halt a bit but be alive. Thank you Jesus. You probably feel the freshness of the wind, telling you everything will be alright. Good morning.
