Don’t Let Them Sing You Into Death

And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of musick. And the women answered one another as they played, and said, Saul hath slain his thousands, And David his ten thousands. 1 Samuel 18:6‭-‬7 KJV

It is easy to produce results in a department. Don’t ever let anyone sing that as an end to the vision. The vision is lager than a segment of it. God raised David to kill Goliath, and introduce him as the next king. The women went our with their praise singing and put the two at a major conflict. Be careful. Today, people may encourage an apprentice because he appears to produce a masterpiece. The praise singing sound sweet. Don’t buy into it. It will only elongate your time of showing forth. For David, that is when the battle became most intense between him and Saul. It took a longer time for the one with the anointing of the moment to win. Eventually, God had to intervene by allowing the principal to die. Its not the praise singing women that you need. Its a delicate walk to redeem and manifest what you drew in the secret with God. By protocol, David eventually got it right. It was not the praise singing women who did it. It was consistent respect that eventually produced David as King. Praise singers exist for the moment. Pursuit of vision is done with diligence. Don’t let anyone sing you into death.
