God is Making You

For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you. And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.
Leviticus 26:9‭-‬10 KJV

In 1911, a movie of the Silent picture era produced a film titled: ” The Making of A Man ”. Its a story of a lead actor in a barnstorming company who finally married a girl who fancied him, even when father had rejected the man for being an actor. In real life it is God who makes people. Several books are written on the subject of God making men. Rick Johnson explores the strategies to help one’s son succeed in life. He titles the book: ”A man in the making”. In today’s verse, God is taking responsibility for making any man. Read the key words. God is the one who makes us fruitful, multiply and establish us. That systematically follows the Genesis account. To be fruitful is to produce good and beneficial results in life. To multiply is to increase greatly in number. To be established means to be accepted, recognized and followed by many. All these are to happen by the covenant. Finally God adds abundance where the new supply will meet the old in store. All these provisions owe simply to obeying God. Today the principle remains. Anyone laughing at your condition now has made a mistake. Making is a process. God is not done with you yet. The pains you are experiencing are just pangs of childbirth. It will subside, and you will be left with the profound excitement of a new born freedom. Your experience was a temporary detour. Ask me.
