Reiterating Vision

The Lord our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount:….. Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them. Deuteronomy 1:6‭, ‬8 KJV

Every serious minded leader should understand the need to reiterate vision from time to time. It is what makes the accomplishment of purpose possible. Here’s someone’s observation on LinkedIn: ” The clearer your vision, the more successful you become. If you know where you are now and where you want to go in life, it’s essential for you to have a clear vision because success comes to those with a clear vision”. The writer wrote that in 2016, on Values driven marketing. He was not thinking of Moses. It is significant, however, that it dawned on Moses that they are in a crossroad of destiny. So he called for a retreating of the original vision since they left Egypt. Some serious minded CEO do this on a yearly basis. To reiterate means to repeat or to do again. That writer on LinkedIn continues: ” With a clear vision, you know where you’re going and you make progress because you’re guided by the map of your mind and the compass of your heart. Without a clear vision, you can get easily distracted and lose sight of the opportunities in front of you, and it also becomes difficult for you to deal with the unknown and the unexpected; and with the ups and downs that you’ll encounter along the path you travel to achieve your vision”. So Moses called for a vision gathering and told them the story of their journey with God in forty years. How regular do you make a vision review? Its about time you try it.
