You Will Go Far!

And Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that ye may sacrifice to the Lord your God in the wilderness; only ye shall not go very far away: entreat for me. Exodus 8:28 KJV

When God begins to answer your prayers, be careful you do not fall into the trap of settling for less. Its a warfare strategy to make you accept less than you prayed for or what God intends for you. I have it on good grounds God’s plans for you: Jer. 29:11(NIV). God just wants you to come back to the closet and ask Him. But, you have a choice. You can take the carrot and leave the meal, you can hold on until God shows up. Moses chose the later. Read that again…only ye shall not go very far. Really? You are made to go far in life. In an article in Inc.Africa published in March,2013, the author points out seven reasons people easily give up on life goals. Don’t look so much at the outcome that you forget there is a process. Think less of peoples opinion, but more of God’s interest. That you’ve failed doesn’t mean you won’t succeed. Don’t throw in the towel. There’s a discipline needed to win against the enemy. Don’t be distracted by what others are doing. You can win. Your faith should be in the word of His grace. Pharaoh will let you go, the resistance will break, the future is on you. Tell yourself: I will go far. Resist the devil. Follow up Moses’s strategy. It works in life. Moses said: three days journey from the start(Ex.3:18). The devil is afraid you will escape.You are.
