God’s Hands Are not Shortened

And the Lord said unto Moses, Is the Lord’s hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not. Numbers 11:23 KJV

The issue of the Lords hand helping is a recurrent theme in Scripture. The implication of this verse is also available in Isa.59:1; Mat.19:26, Luke 1:37 etc. The phrase is a description of the all powerful ability of God to act without restraint because, nothing is impossible with Him. Every man may have a limit, but God is limitless. Moses tried to calculate what it will take to bring meat for more than three million Israelites. He tried to impress God with the magnitude of such promise by just counting the foot soldiers. God dismissed his fears by asking if His hands are short, that He can’t help Himself. Jesus used the sane phrase in Mathew. There’s something interesting about this hand of God. God does not have a physical hand since He is a spirit. Gods hand describes His omnipotent approval to act on things on earth without anyone’s permission. God was set to show Moses and his people His divine abilities. And God did it. God’s hand is not shortened in your case. It doesn’t matter where. I’ve mentioned this in one of my books: God had to pull birds flying across the Mediterranean to land on the desert for meat. Don’t let the devil give it to you. This was not their flight route. They obeyed God, in the desert. Even if you are in the desert, Gods hand is reaching you with help from above. There’s no Central Bank limit on that withdrawal. Its yours. Its Gods hand.
