The Transformation For the Leaders

And the Lord came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease. Numbers 11:25 KJV

A few days ago, we spoke of the Seventy Elders as Moses’ Assistants. No one remains an assistant forever. Today is graduation day. Please don’t ask me how long they remained as assistants before they became leaders. The particular process for these primal leaders was in Gods hands. God can stretch out or compress the training process. Time is in the hands of God( Prov.31:15 ). The convocation held at the terbanacle. God took Moses’ Spirit unto the people. This is very important. This unity of spirit can only serve a unity of purpose. Two people were absent in the meeting, were worthy in learning and in character. So they prophesied along with others. We do not know why the two leaders were absent from convocation, or whether they had permission to be absent, but the same spirit was on them. Moses’ comments that he wished everyone could prophesy literally came true in the new testament. The spirit upon those leaders brought a change to their leadership and the way the people perceived them. We’ve seen God transform people who were in the same choir with others to become leaders by acts of ordination. The Spirit came upon them. Any leader without this transformation will become an opposition. There is nothing so difficult as trying to remove an opposition who eventually will become political. What transformation have you noticed in your assistants? Share with us.
