The Last Review: Entry into Caanan

And the Lord spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,…….And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.
Numbers 33:50‭, ‬53 KJV

It is significant that there’s a review of the journey under Moses from Egypt to the plains of Moab. It shows God’s faithfulness in the last forty years. You may not see how much God has done until you sit down for a conscious review. Beyond the plains is the very land they are meant to possess. So Moses told them what to do and how to divide up the land. Here they are forty years after. The land awaits them. To occupy the land, they had to route the inhabitants, their pictures and images, theirs gods and any other thing that will bring them into compromise. Now this is the real deal whenever God grants us life opportunities, we must be conscious to lay a fresh foundation that honours God. That is going to be a major test to them throughout their time. If they didn’t obey God, here is the consequence in Gods own words, ” those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell”.( v.55 ). Later, we will find out how these words became a reality. As you enter into a new level of Gods blessings, take out the things that may compromise your faith. You’ve got this far with that commitment, don’t rest, and let the enemy take over.
